Hey! So, I haven’t done a giveaway in a while. I should probably do one, right?
I’ve been busy uploading new items to Pink Castle Fabrics. All of Joel Dewberry’s new Heirloom line, Moda Early Release Precuts and Moda Cross Weaves! Whew!
I’m very excited that my little shop is getting bigger! And to celebrate I am giving away a pre-release Moda Fairy Tale Friends honey bun. This is the new line by American Jane (Sandy Klop) that includes the reprints of the popular multi-pez prints!
What’s a honey bun? Besides a delicious pastry that I wish I was eating right now, it’s a roll of 40 1.5″ strips from a line of fabric. How fun is that? They make easy work for strip quilts and sashing. Precuts are awesome! I especially like the Moda Basics layer cakes. One of those and a patterned layer cake make for some quick and easy big half square triangles π
OKAY! On to the good stuff. How to win the honey bun:
1. Leave me a comment (make sure you have an email address attached to it, please!)
That’s it! You can tell me whatever you want in the comment. You don’t have to follow me or Like Pink Castle Fabrics on Facebook (but you can!). You can tell me what you would make with the honey bun, your middle name, your favorite recipe…
I’m going to randomly draw a winner on Thursday July 21st so get your entry in now! And go check out my shop and buy lots of fabric.
AND…you should go check out Caitlin’s Blog for another giveaway and her Garden Fence Quilt a Long announcement! I love this pattern. I think I might do mine with Hope Valley!
im entering! pick me pick me!
loving your pink castle store by the way!
love it great mix of choices!
Yummy, yummy fabrics! One of my favourite food combinations is chocolate with peanut butter, and this sundae recipe is my best of the best π

I wish I had some ice cream in the house right now, even though it’s 10am I would make this right now if I could, it’s that good π
Thanks for the chance to win π
Hmmm…what should I tell you? Well, the reason I am awake before everyone else in my family is that I have so much work to do on a book manuscript “due” next month — and it is a critical anthology of fairy tales. So my work + my favourite form of play (+ a tasty breakfast for this early morning) = a Fairy Tale Friends honey bun π Yay.
Hmm… what to say….. “Marsh”. I’ll let you guess what that is/means π
Hi Brenda! My middle name is “Ey” which is actually my maiden name – pronounced eye. By the way – great giveaway!
I’ve never used a honey bun (love the name though!)
My middle name is Rachel!
Cute Fabric!
Thanks for the chance π
Hi, cute giveaway! Great shop! No middle name!
How fun! I see some great prints in there. Your shop looks great too.
I’m very excited for Caitlin’s QAL. Still deciding on fabric.
I hadn’t seen this fabric line! Gorgeous! My favorite recipe is this: http://www.marcigirldesigns.com/1/post/2010/11/baby-shower-week-easy-crock-pot-pulled-pork-sandwiches.html So good and easy to make!
LOVE this fabric line! Just finished two mini quilts from a charm pack I purchased and I would love to make something bigger. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for the opportunity, it’s always nice to be able to help someone celebrate.
I love this line!! Thanks for the chance to win. I love your shop too.
Oh, this looks like such a great giveaway prize π Love precuts, they make life so easy. Hmm…my favourite recipe has to be fillet steak with pepper cream sauce. Yum yum!
The honey bun is so cute! I think I’d have to make my daughter a quilt with it just so it stays in our house π
I have just been drooling over your lovely fabric shop and also popped over to like you on Facebook! Not that I’m trying to stalk you of course, he he!
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

My middle name is Elizabeth – as in Emily Elizabeth, the friend of Clifford the big red dog. I usually have a good “in” with kids because of that π
I’m fairly new to quilting and have no stash to speak of. No thread either. So I’d love to win some of this awesome fabric. My granddaughter turns six years old on Friday, July 22nd, so this would be a cool thing to show her if I win. And hopefully, if I win, I’ll have plenty of time to get back with you because I’ll be going to visit her for her birthday and sadly I’ll be without internet from Thursday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Hmmm….that would be bad to return and find out I missed the deadline. π¦
The Pez prints are super cute! I got a fat quarter of it back when I was first starting to quilt and before I knew they were so popular. π
I have two daughter’s who would love to help mommy craft with these amazing prints!
Hi Brenda! I’d probably make a quilt for my youngest with the honeybun. I think it would look good with some solid blues and greens. By the way, I still “Liked” you on Facebook ’cause I like you!
I love Pink Castles. I must confess, I untill 5 months ago I never used precuts. (gasp), yes I said that. I thought quilting was all about the cutting it all out first. Boy was I WRONG!!
I’ve been waiting for this line to be out, love the pez.
Taking a break from my seemingly never ending unpacking and stumbled upon your giveaway! Cute fabric, which would be great to sew up and have ready for my next baby shower gift. Thanks for the opportunity!
I love the great variety of fabrics that Pink Castle has on offer – very tempting!!!
Oh. That looks so pretty. I’d love a chance to win. I love making scrappy quilts so I am sure this would be perfect for me. Oh, and I plan to make the meeting next week so I can pick up my other fabrics!
Gotta love a giveaway! Thanks for the chance!
What fun, I love your blog title! Thanks for sharing!
I’m very excited about this giveaway! I just used a Snippets honey bun and can’t wait to experiment more with them. I love all the pretty fabrics in your shop and have a hard time choosing what my first purchase will be π
Sadly I don’t have a middle name.
My french grandmother used to make cinnamon buns called Pete des soeurs.
Translation: Nun’s farts. π
Great giveaway!
The fairy tale friends line is adorable!

I’d love to make a spiderweb quilt with a honey bun someday. Cute giveaway!
Love that honeybun π My middle name is Gael with a fairly rare spelling, and lo and behold, one of my co-workers has the same middle name, same spelling… neither of us had ever met one before LOL
Fancy fabrics!
