Did you see my pillow on Sew Mama Sew’s pillow contest?
Go vote for me! 🙂
Hey there! Sorry I wasn’t around much last week. I had schoolwork and the A2MQG meeting. Which went so well! We are growing so quickly it’s exciting. We did a Bring n Brag and I am impressed by the caliber of work by the other girls, very impressive! It’s going to be a lot of fun to learn from everyone.
So, last week I went thrifting and found the mother-lode of great vintage sheets! I just had to take them all home! I spent the weekend washing and cutting and organizing my haul. I listed some of it in my etsy shop and I’m going to share some love with you!
12 lovely fat quarters. All for you!
I will draw a random number winner on Friday morning, March 4th!
To enter, leave a comment. You can tell me all about your plans for the vintage sheets if you’d like. If you are a follower of my blog, new or old leave a second one ! 🙂
Good Luck!
~Brenda

Yay for your pillow getting some well-deserved recognition! And what great sheets. If I won I’d use them to make something girly… there are too many boys things in my life!

I love vintage sheets! What a great find! I use them for quilting and making pillows, generally. I love your Etsy shop!
Hello,
Nice to have found your blog! I’ve seen some lovely quilts recently that would be great to use vintage sheets for — have you seen the latest mini quilt over at Purl Soho? (Liberty circles) — I think that would be great to do with vintage sheets! Your pillow is gorgeous — good luck with the contest!

Oh I think Ill do some thrifting tomorrow!!! You found some great ones! Tell me though.. what do you pay for a vintage sheet, just curious? Also I have been wanting to do a half square triangle quilt with vintage sheets and these would be perfect to start that!
They are between $3-6 a sheet. Not too bad and so soft.
Of course.. I’m a follower too. 🙂
Ooooh!! So pretty! I found a couple solid sheets while thrifting the other day that would go great with those. I’d make a couple little bags.
Congratulations on your pillow making into the top 20!
I love the softness of vintage sheets – would probably make some baby blankets out of them. 🙂
I have some vintage sheets, but not enough variety and they would go great with these fat quarters to make a picnic quilt!
Great giveaway! I should have known I have not scored well at the AA thrift stores for vintage sheets, guess you got there first.
